Welcome to Balls of Steel!

Well, it's taken 3 years, but there's finally a new Balls of Steel site!

All the scans are still here, and we're going to bring back game rooms too.

Additionally, we'll be adding a place where vendors and hobbyists can post links to their sites.

You can still browse the site (including thumbnails of the scans) without registering, but downloads of the full size scans will require registration or entering a CAPTCHA for each download.

This is unfortunately due to abuse of the site (and the fact that I pay for this out of my own pocket). It will help to prevent "site leeching" where a person uses a program to download the entire site all at once. There's a lot of gigabytes of data here, and bandwidth isn't free. :(

If you don't want to register, or you're not logged in, you'll have to enter a CAPTCHA to download each scan.

CAPTCHA is provided by reCAPTCHA, a public service that provides security for websites while using the input you provide to transcribe old books into electronic form.

Registration for an account isn't quite ready, but I wanted to get the scans back online for people to access. Expect updates to the site in the coming weeks, and get those pictures of your game room ready.

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you find what you're looking for!

Special Thanks

The following people have contributed personally to me in some way or other (mostly parts to help restore my own machines) and so I'd like to offer a special thanks and a link to their sites.
